Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities and Core Competencies:
  • Looking for skilled 3-5 years of experienced person with strong expertise in Collibra data governance, metadata management, and data quality (DQ).
  • Solid data engineering capabilities and hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
  • Implement and manage Collibra Data Governance Center (DGC) components
  • Configure and maintain Data Catalog, Business Glossary, Data Lineage, Data Stewardship workflows and Enterprise metadata
  • Design and enforce data governance policies, standards, and processes
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data ownership and stewardship models.
  • Enable data discovery, classification, and lineage tracking for impact analysis and traceability
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to enable governance adoption
  • Implement automated metadata ingestion using Collibra connectors/APIs
  • Develop and manage technical and business metadata frameworks including ingestion of metadata from various sources (Databases, ETL tools, BI etc.)
  • Integrate Collibra with DQ tools (e.g., Informatica DQ, Great Expectations, or similar)
  • Monitor and report on data quality metrics and KPIs including RCA analysis and coordination for different fixes
  • Work closely with data engineering teams to Build and optimize data pipelines and to enable metadata-driven data processing
Required Technical and Soft Skills:
  • Expertise in Collibra, AWS/Azure, Python/PySpark, SQL
  • Understanding of data architecture and data modelling concepts
  • Good Pharma domain knowledge, mainly for commercial use cases
  • Ability to work collaboratively and providing the support to the team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good-to-have Skills:
  • Experience with:
    • Collibra APIs, Edge, and integrations
    • Data lineage tools (e.g., Apache Atlas, Alation)
    • DQ tools (Informatica, Talend, Great Expectations, Immuta, Atacama etc.)
  • Experience in Snowflake/Databricks
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
